I've always known I'm a bit off-beat from most performers my own age. Between a growing collection of vintage hats and an undying admiration for dames like Rosalind Russell, Carol Burnett, and Lauren Bacall, it's easy to spot my old soul temperament a mile away.

I have a soft spot for old Hollywood fast talkers, screwball slapstick comediennes, and strong-willed women in impeccably cut trousers showing the boys who's boss. As an actor, I strive to find the modern, fierce, vibrant inner life of every character I tackle. It's a sensibility I bring to all my work, both in performance and behind the scenes in my director's chair, and I take immense pleasure in guiding the young actors I direct to make discoveries of their own.

When I'm not performing, I satiate the ravenous bookworm within me through a steady diet of classic literature (Jane Eyre a perennial favorite), sci-fi, fantasy, and as many plays as I can get my hands on. Naturally, this is underscored by the music I was raised on, a hearty mix of AC/DC, CCR, and a good dose of modern pop for good measure.
