  • Osceola Arts 2411 East Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway Kissimmee, FL, 34744 United States (map)

Meg is stepping back through the doors of the Kit Kat Klub to join Encore Performing Arts’ production of Cabaret as Sally Bowles. Performances run Febuary 19-23rd at Osceola Arts Center’s Black Box Theatre. Tickets are going fast.

“Encore Performing Arts is excited to kick off 2020 with a trip back in time to “Cabaret”. Set in the late 1920’s at a Berlin nightclub, Cabaret explores the dark, heady, and tumultuous life of Berlin’s natives and expatriates as Germany slowly yields to the emerging Third Reich. Cliff, a young American writer newly arrived in Berlin, is immediately taken by English singer Sally Bowles. Meanwhile, Fräulein Schneider, proprietor of Cliff and Sally’s boarding house, tentatively begins a romance with Herr Schultz, a mild-mannered fruit seller who happens to be Jewish. Musical numbers include “Willkommen,” “Cabaret,” “Don’t Tell Mama,” "Mein Herr" and “Two Ladies.”

The show will run February 20-23, 7:30pm at Osceola Arts in Kissimmee. Advanced purchase tickets start at $27, with a limited number of two-seater private tables available for $80. The show will be directed by Michael Rodgers and choreographed by Katherine Rivera with music direction by Clay Price.”
